MOROCCO COACH TOUR - IMPERIAL CITIES - 8 days / 7 nights
November 2011 - October 2012

DAY 1 - SATURDAY: CASABLANCA
On arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V Airport our representative will assist with transfers to your confirmed hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
DAY 2 - SUNDAY: CASABLANCA / RABAT ( 95 KM )
Breakfast and meeting with your tour guide around 0930am. Begin sightseeing of Casablanca with an exterior visit of the Hassan II Mosque & sightseeing at Mohamed V Square & the Royal Palace. Later, perhaps stroll along the Ain Diab Sea-side or enjoy a seafood meal ( optional ) before departing to Rabat the administrative capital of Morocco. Sightseeing in Rabat includes the splendid Mohamed V Mausoleum, Hassan Tower, Royal Palace, Oudayas Gardens & photo stop at the Chellah Ruins. In the evening check-in to your hotel. Dinner at your hotel.
DAY 3 - MONDAY: RABAT / MEKNES / FEZ ( 220 KM )
Breakfast, departure to Fez with a stop at the Imperial city of Meknes with its many palaces and historic buildings including an impressive 40kms of walls that still surround the city. Sightseeing highlights of the old city include the El Hdim square with its stalls, musicians and snake charmers, the Hari Souani stables, which although partially destroyed by a 18th century earthquake, remain an impressive sight and good photo opportunity as is Bab Mansour, one of the most impressive gates to be found in Morocco. Lunch is optional.
Next the sacred Islamic Town of Moulay Idriss before continuing to Volubilis. Regarded by many as the best Roman ruins in Africa Volubilis is, as history suggests, where the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, of “Gladiator” fame was based during his campaign through North Africa.
Next is fabulous Fez for hotel check-in and dinner.
DAY 4 - TUESDAY: FEZ
The most ancient of the Imperial cities, founded in the 8th century, Fez has become the cultural centre of Morocco. Exploring & sightseeing can be enjoyed for hours or days, this wonderful city is home to the “World Heritage Medina”, Fes el-Bali.
Following breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to the sightseeing with a visit of the worlds oldest medieval medina including the Attarine medrassa, Nejarine fountain, Royal Palace, the Merinides tombs and of course the souk where artisans, in the Arab, Jewish, and Andalucian quarters, still work in ancient time honoured ways. A visit to the dyers & tanners quarters where sheep and goatskins are coloured and processed into fashionable garments is typically enjoyed by travellers. Lunch is optional. Dinner at your hotel.
DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY: FEZ / BENI-MELLAL / MARRAKECH ( 485 KM )
After breakfast, departure to Marrakech passing through Azrou, a berber village well known for its local handicraft, Continue through this impressive wooded and mountainous region. Next is the agricultural centre, Beni-Mellal, where free time has been allocated for lunch before continuing directly to Marrakech for hotel check-in and dinner.
DAY 6 - THURSDAY: MARRAKECH
Breakfast and the whole day will be devoted to the discovery of Marrakech. "The Pearl of the South" is the second oldest Imperial city sightseeing includes the Saadian tombs, the Koutoubia tower, the Bahia palace, and the Menara Gardens. Lunch at your hotel. In the afternoon, explore the colourful souks and the wonderfully atmospheric Djemaa El Fna square with its magical sights and sounds including snake charmers, jugglers, acrobats, storytellers, pickpockets and even dentists. Djemaa El Fna is special. An optional dinner & show is provided under Caidal tents at the famous restaurant "Chez Ali Fantazia" where you can enjoy live folklore bands, dancers and spectacular horsemen from different Moroccan regions. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7 - FRIDAY: MARRAKECH / CASABLANCA ( 240 KM )
Breakfast and morning free at leisure for personal exploration or relaxation by the hotel pool. Lunch is optional.
Departure, in the afternoon, for Casablanca via Settat, on arrival check-in for dinner and overnight accommodation.
DAY 8 - SATURDAY: CASABLANCA
After breakfast, transfer to Casablanca Mohamed V Airport with assistance for your flight departure.
