DAY 1 (Sunday): COSTA DEL SOL / FES

Morning departure to Algeciras or Tarifa to board the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrive in Morocco and after customs continue by motorcoach to the imperial city of Fes. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 2 (Monday): FES

The most ancient of the Imperial Cities, founded in the 8th century Fes has become the spiritual heart and cultural centre of Morocco. Following breakfast, a morning sightseeing program includes the Kairouyine University and mosque, the Nejjarine fountain, the souk where craftsman in Arab, Jewish, and Andalucía quarters still work in ancient ways and a visit to the dyers and tanners quarters where sheep and goatskins are coloured and processed into fashionable garments.

Lunch and then an afternoon at leisure allows visitors to discover and explore Fes themselves which can be achieved in hours or days, this is a wonderful city with a fabulous “World Heritage” medieval medina.

DAY 3 (Tuesday): FES / MEKNES / MARRAKECH

Following breakfast depart for Meknes, the Imperial city founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail, where a panoramic tour includes the Royal stables (Hari Souani), the Granary, the old Medina, Palaces and historic buildings including the impressive 25kms of walls that still surround the city. Then continue through the Mid-Atlas mountains towards Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 4 (Wednesday): MARRAKECH

Following breakfast, morning city sightseeing tour of this Imperial city visiting the Summer Royal Bay Palace, Tombs Saadi, the Koutoubia Tower and of course the famous Djemaa el Fna Square filled with its magical sights and sounds including snake charmers, jugglers, acrobats, storytellers, pickpockets and even dentists. Djemaa El Fna is special. Lunch at your hotel and then an afternoon at leisure to continue discovering this exciting city by yourself. Accommodation.

DAY 5 (Thursday): MARRAKECH / CASABLANCA / RABAT

Breakfast and then depart for the cosmopolitan city of Casablanca, made even more famous by the movies. Panoramic sightseeing tour including the very impressive Hassan II Mosque, United Nations Square and the Anfa Residential Quarter. In the afternoon continue to Rabat, capital of the Kingdom of Morocco. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 6 (Friday): RABAT / TANGIER

After breakfast a sightseeing tour visiting the outside of the Royal Palace, official residence of the King, Mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan Tower. Then depart for Tangier, with a panoramic tour of “the Princess of the North,” the city of Hercules which has been an established trading port back to the Phoenicians and Carthaginians, before arriving to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 7 (Saturday): TANGIER / COSTA DEL SOL

After breakfast departure to board the ferry and cross the Strait back to Spain. Continue to the Costa del Sol and end of our services.
