  • Nights: Marmaris (1), Fethiye (2), Antalya (1), Cappadocia (2), Sanfranbolu (1), Istanbul (1).
Itinerary:
Day 1 Thu:     Marmaris
Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. (D)
 
Day 2 Fri:        Koycegiz and Greek Kayakoy – Fethiye
After breakfast we drive to the lakeside town of Koycegiz. Here we take a boat cruise to turtle beach and smother ourselves in mud at a local mud-bath. En route to Fethiye we'll stop to explore the quaint Greek village of Kayakoy. Overnight Fethiye and dinner in a local restaurant. (B,D)
 
Day 3 Sat:       Fethiye
Today is a free day. You will have the option to join our 12 island boat cruise or spend the day relaxing at the beach, or shopping in the markets of Fethiye. Overnight Fethiye. (B)
 
Day 4 Sun:     Saklikent Gorge – Antalya
After breakfast we visit the stunningly beautiful Saklikent Gorge, Turkey's longest and deepest canyon, after tracking along the canyon we will continue to Antalya crossing the Tauros Mountains. Dinner at your hotel and overnight Antalya. (B,D)
 
Day 5 Mon:     Antalya (Aspendos) – Konya – Cappadocia
After breakfast an early departure for Konya, an en-route stop at Aspendos to see the ancient theater and at the scenic Tinaztepe sink hole and cave. Upon arrival to Konya, we tour the monastery of the Mervlana Whirling Dervishes. Then have an afternoon drive to Cappadocia via Seljuk- a fine example of an ancient Silk Road caravanserai. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,D)
 
Day 6 Tue:      Cappadocia
After breakfast full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. An optional and fun Turkish folklore evening is available tonight. Dinner and Overnight in Cappadocia. (B,D)
 
Day 7 Wed:     Cappadocia – Ankara – Safranbolu
Early in the morning an optional Balloon tour is available. Morning departure for Safranbolu. On the way stop in Ankara and visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum in Ankara. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We continue our drive and check in to our Safranbolu, the UNESCO World Heritage town, which is considered as an open air museum. Tonight we stay at an old ottoman mansion. (B,D)
 
Day 8 Thu:     Safranbolu – Istanbul
After breakfast visit the old town of Safranbolu where you can test a fine sample of Turkish delights then continue to drive to Istanbul afternoon visit Grand Bazaar. Overnight Istanbul. (B)
 
Day 9 Fri:        Istanbul
After breakfast transfer to airport. (B)
